Hello readers and followers.
The other day I was recalling that when I was young, and even more recently, we would have quiz shows on tv on Sunday evenings.
So, we are now running a quiz for you.
"What fell off our car this week"
Each week, ending on Sunday evenings, we will judge entries to see who correctly guessed what
part(s) fell off the Puce Goose during the 7 days leading up to Sunday evening.
You may enter by leaving a comment which must be in by the Friday before.
To give you some clues, the following items have broken or fallen off to date.
Driving light
Drivers headlight, twice
Front numberplate
Various smaller bits
Lokking forward to your intense competition for the prize which is yet to be announced
Phil
I was going to say your mind, but you've lost that already!

I know, I know!!! Front bumper bar! Oh sorry, that was the other Phil! love to you both, helen
ReplyDeleteOkay for this week it will be the exhaust & one of Laurette's teeth!

Don't know about things falling off however that wine that you wanted is in my cellar and I thought if I hurried I could send a bottle to the Park Hyatt in Bishek, Kyrgyzstan. (or the slab for that matter and you can throw it at intruding constabulary!) Will think about what may have fallen off before the deadline now that Bluesky Mining has educated me about comments.
ReplyDeleteI think the driver's headlight will make it 3 out of 3!
ReplyDeletePaying extra for milk in your coffee - i remember getting that in egypt. in the end i just drank it black since the milk was invariably quite ordinary anyhow.
ReplyDeleteaccording to dad's email the puce goose is in pretty sorry shape at the moment, hopefully it will hold together / get put back together enough to make it to calcutta.
Well obviously your problems of the last week are just an attempt to make the competition too difficult. How can one win when you organise for "everything" to fall off the car?
ReplyDeleteKeep trundling,
Noel
I reckon this quiz was rigged! I'm with you, Noel, just not fair when everything falls off the car!
